I am so sorry to have missed book club again! Too many circumstances...I had been up the whole night before at the ER with my Dad and then it was Meg's last night. I meant to say I could host the next one! Hanky I will do it if you want...I feel like I haven't done it in forever.

I am enjoying the next book, and look forward to seeing everyone on the 20th. I managed to get the next day off, so there will be no rush to end the evening for me! so far, I haven't heard of anyone not being able to come, so we may have one of our rare meetings with everyone in attendance.

One more note to everyone...I just want all of you to know that I do not have AC in my house, so if it is really hot the 20th, we will be in for a warm gathering. I am looking forward to hosting, but if anyone is worried about the temp, and would rather host it at your home if you have AC, let me know and I will do it in the Fall when it is cooler. ReplyDeleteWe will meet to discuss "Let the Great World Spin" on Tues. at 7pm at my house. The summer has been so incredibly hectic, I hope we can sit around, discuss the book, enjoy some food and wine, and relax a bit.
So far, the only one not able to attend is Sheila, due to a preciously scheduled trip.
So I hope to see everyone else.
